A Stewardship Diagnostic

The Steward's Assessment

Discover where you are governing well — and where the entire structure of your life is at risk.

How This Works

No one sees these answers but you and God. Be honest.

Most men cannot tell you which area of their life is closest to collapse. They are too busy managing the noise to diagnose the structure.

This 25-question assessment evaluates your life as a steward across the five pillars: Christ at the Center, Family in Order, Business as Asset, Daily Discipline, and Eternal Legacy.

Each pillar is rated from 5 to 25. Your total score reveals where you stand. Your weakest pillar reveals where the next 90 days of work belong.

The Scale: Rate each statement from 1 (Never / Not at all) to 5 (Always / Completely). Most honest answers fall between 2 and 4. If everything is a 5, you are not being honest with yourself.

This will take about 8 minutes. Your weakest pillar will tell you which of the seven STEWARDSHIP volumes to read next.

Your first ministry, before any other

A business that serves you, not the other way around

NeverAlways

14. I view my business as a stewardship (something God entrusted to me) rather than as my identity or my possession.

NeverAlways

NeverAlways
Pillar 4
Daily Discipline
The rhythm that sustains everything else

16. I have a consistent morning routine that includes spiritual, physical, and mental preparation before the day begins.

NeverAlways

NeverAlways

18. I regularly review my week, month, and year with intentional reflection and strategic planning.

NeverAlways

19. When my discipline breaks (and it does), I recover quickly with grace rather than shame or abandonment.

NeverAlways

20. I manage my energy (physical, mental, emotional, spiritual) as carefully as I manage my schedule.

NeverAlways
Pillar 5
Eternal Legacy
What outlasts the steward

21. I am currently mentoring at least one person with intentional, structured investment in their growth.

NeverAlways

22. I have written (or begun writing) a legacy letter to my children or next generation — not just a will, but my values, beliefs, and blessings.

NeverAlways

23. I invest a meaningful portion of my time, talent, and treasure into purposes that have eternal significance.

NeverAlways

24. I can name 3-5 non-negotiable values that I am actively transmitting to the next generation through my life, not just my words.

NeverAlways

25. If I died tomorrow, there are people prepared to continue my mission — in my family, my business, and my community.

NeverAlways
